Andy Hopper, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 64th district since 2025, has recently shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing topics ranging from personal appeals to higher education policy and political endorsements.

On May 5, 2026, Hopper posted a message asking for support for an individual in need: “Please pray for healing for Coach Crutsinger.”

The following day, on May 6, 2026, Hopper commented on university operations in Texas with a critical stance: “Cultural suicide. Such universities should not be approved to operate by THECB.”

Later that same day, he expressed approval of a political endorsement: “Great endorsement from a battle-tested conservative warrior, @NateSchatzline.”

Hopper was elected to the Texas State House in 2025 after defeating Lynn Stucky and now serves as the representative for the state’s 64th House district.
