Andy Hopper, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Texas’s 64th House district, has recently shared his views and activities on social media, focusing on student activism and local education policy.
On October 6, 2025, Hopper expressed appreciation for colleagues supporting a campus rally: “Thank you to @NateSchatzline, @brentmoney, and @RepRichardHayes for coming up to Denton to support @point_unt’s rally at @UNTsocial yesterday. Glad to support @TPUSA’s fight to rescue this generation.”
The following day, he reflected on the importance of open dialogue at universities: “On Sunday at the @point_unt rally, I felt strongly that we should continue the legacy of @charliekirk11 to have hard conversations on college campuses.”
On October 9, Hopper criticized a recent decision by the Northwest Independent School District (NWISD) board: “This is a ridiculous and super weak move by the NWISD board. Our society has gotten to the horrendous state that it is in no small part because we’ve removed God from almost every aspect of kids’ lives. This decision defies the original intent of the First Amendment.”
Hopper succeeded Lynn Stucky as representative for Texas House District 64 after winning election in 2025.
