Andy Hopper, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing District 64, recently shared several updates on his social media accounts highlighting his campaign activities and policy positions.

On February 8, 2026, Hopper posted about engaging with voters in his district, stating: “What an incredible day to be outside knocking doors with @rittenhouse2a and so many patriots from across the district! Thank y’all for all the hard work and for spending your day with us!!!”

The following day, February 9, 2026, Hopper announced new endorsements from gun rights organizations. He wrote: “I am honored to have earned the endorsement of @GunOwnersTexas, @TXGunRights, @TSRA_outreach, and @NRA.

As a staunch protector of your Second Amendment rights, my position is clear: I will not only defend the line, but will fight to regain your inalienable 2A rights that have”

Later that same day, Hopper reiterated his legislative priorities in another post: “As your State Representative, I promise to always fight for Texans on the House Floor – to stop wasting your money, to kill bad legislation and to protect your liberties. I will always stand for you, even if I have to stand alone.”

Hopper was elected in 2025 as the representative for Texas’ 64th House district after succeeding Lynn Stucky. As a state legislator and Republican officeholder, he has emphasized protecting individual liberties and supporting gun rights advocacy groups.
