Andy Hopper, a Republican recently elected to the Texas State House representing the 64th district, posted several updates on his social media regarding legislative developments and media appearances in August 2025.

On August 20, Hopper announced the passage of a legislative measure with the statement: “#BigBeautifulMap passed 88-52!” Later that evening, he referenced Katrina Pierson in another post, writing: “True story. @KatrinaPierson told the truth and destroyed the lies. Epic.” The following day, Hopper informed followers of an upcoming television appearance: “Just about to go live on @NEWSMAX to discuss the #BigBeautifulMap. Tune in!”

Hopper was elected in 2025 to succeed Lynn Stucky as representative for Texas’s 64th House district.
