There was one gas station in cities across Denton County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.17 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, regular gas averaged $2.38 per gallon.
GasBuddy reports show that regular gas was available at 195 of the 280 reported gas stations in Denton County.
The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in Texas was $2.33, down from the previous week.
