For the first time in over two years, Dallas residents met with Code Compliance Services staff face-to-face to participate in the department’s Code Academy for residents on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
The two-hour seminar at Timberglen Library in District 12, allowed our staff to explain how Code’s top priority is to protect the health and safety of residents in the city of Dallas. The handful of participants in the academy asked questions and got answers from Code on the top ten Code violations, the different divisions in Code and the best practices on how they can be good neighbors in the city.
At the conclusion of the academy, the residents were given certificates to signify they completed the session and are ready to take what they learned into their communities.
