Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), Chairman of the House Rules Committee, released a statement regarding President Trump's verdict.
"I am beyond disappointed in this ridiculous verdict and condemn the clear weaponization of our justice system by the Biden Administration," said Chairman Burgess. "During this trial we have seen on multiple occasions the unfairness shown by the judge toward President Trump. He had made a decision long before today. Republicans across America will support President Trump and will fight for the judicial system that our founding fathers intended."
