Washington, D.C. - Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), Chairman of the Rules Committee, issued a statement today following the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025.
"The passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 demonstrates our gratitude to our nation’s service members and their families as they defend our country from foreign adversaries," said Chairman Burgess. "We can never repay the men and women who put their lives at risk to protect our nation. Their sacrifices are immense. The passage of this NDAA shows our service members that their country loves them as much as they love it. This important piece of legislation sustains the warfighter and sets them up for success, ensuring they are well-equipped from the moment they wake up until their day is done.
