Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), Chairman of the Rules Committee, hosted an annual Energy Efficiency Summit and Fair in Fort Worth, Texas. Joining Congressman Burgess for informational sessions and panels were representatives from the Dallas Builders Association, Vistra Energy, and CoServ.
"Our great state of Texas has an abundance of energy and natural resources," said Congressman Burgess. "Unfortunately, high energy costs have been a major issue for my constituents under the Biden Administration’s current energy policies. It’s crucial Texans are aware of ways to save money by increasing their energy efficiency in their home. Powering both the state of Texas and the wonderful country we reside in is not a one-size fits all solution, and discussing all the resources available helps to ensure our country remains energy independent and dominant. Today, our community had a great day learning how to save on energy costs, emerging energy resources, and why it is vital we continue expanding domestic energy production."
