DART DEBUTS FIRST-EVER HOLIDAY TRAIN AND BUSES
Some lucky DART patrons over the next few weeks may find themselves on a more “festive” mode of transportation—DART debuted its first-ever holiday train this week as well as several inaugural holiday-themed buses.
The train, wrapped with a “snowmen” graphic and hundreds of twinkling holiday lights, will travel on a different line each week through Jan. 1, making regularly scheduled stops each evening at each station along the route.
Richardson light rail stations are currently welcoming the holiday train on the Orange Line through Dec. 11 and on the Red Line Dec. 12-18; Green Line riders can experience it Dec. 19-25, and it heads to the Blue Line Dec. 26-Jan. 1. The holiday buses will travel on various bus routes throughout the DART service area through the end of the year.
