Of the 9,910 students attending Wise County district schools, 63.9% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 31.9% of Wise County districts' students.
In the previous school year, white students still were the most common group in Wise County districts, representing 64.4% of the student body.
Boyd ISD, Decatur ISD and Paradise ISD had the most diverse student body in the county, including white, American Indian, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Pacific Islander, and Multi-racial.
