Looking for educational and fun activities for your children this summer? Texas Woman’s University provides a variety of camps for local children of all ages.

Summer Camps 2022

TWU Athletics Camps

June-July

Camps for softball and one of TWU’s newest sports, artistic swim, currently are scheduled, and there are more to come. We are continually monitoring COVID-19 developments. If it is determined that our camps should be canceled, we will issue campers a refund within 48 hours of cancelation (minus card processing/convenience fees).

Culinology® Camp

June 4-10

Kids will have a blast learning how to cook nutritious, delicious meals. Ages 12-17 should have some cooking experience and will learn advanced techniques with a research chef. Ages 6-11 will learn the basics of cooking. Campers who stay for the afternoon will participate in fun activities across the TWU campus.

Pioneer Digital Days Virtual Summer Camp

June 27-July 1

New ways of using tablets, smartphones and computers have changed our lives. In the time of COVID-19, these tools have become windows into our world. This camp is designed to encourage young children, their parents and teachers to use all types of technology to become competent digital citizens and learners in the new virtual age.

TWU/AFA CyberCamp

June 6-10

Students will learn cybersecurity principles that are relevant and applicable to everyday life. Developed by the Air Force Association (AFA), the camp curriculum covers new topics and engages participants in fun, hands-on activities each day, building up to a final team competition simulating real cyber security situations faced by industry professionals.

STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, & Medicine) Camp

Students will explore basic and medical science through hands-on, inquiry-based laboratory activities and real-world case studies.

Camp CoDE for Girls

June 14-18

  • Ages: Grades K-8

Camp Computing in Deaf Education for Girls is a weeklong, technology-rich camp in which Deaf girls and their teachers will learn to build, use, and code a diverse group of readily available robotic technologies.

 

Pioneer All-State Choir Camp

Small School Camp: July 25-27

Large School Camp: July 28-30

The Pioneer Choir Camp prepares Texas high school singers from large and small schools for a successful all-state audition process. Participants will perform in concert at the end of the camp.
